City Of Birds is a collection of compositions by alto saxophonist Elijah Shiffer, dedicated to the birds of New York City. Elijah takes inspiration from birds in many elements of their lives including their voices, their behaviors, and their habitats. This music is typically performed in a chordless quartet setting: alto sax, tenor sax, bass, and drums. The album City Of Birds, Volume 1 was released in 2023; volumes 2 and 3 will come out in 2025, with even more on the horizon. Elijah played this music at the American Ornithological Society conference last year and plans to perform for other bird and nature organizations in the near future. @elijahshiffer

Leftpop is the project of composer, improviser, and producer Harrison Adams. His current keyboard work takes the natural world as inspiration, attempting to channel the rhythms of nature into musical forms. Across a decade of performances and recordings, he has interwoven field-recordings, analog synthesis, spoken-word poetry, data sonification, and experimental beats, interrogating ecology, media, mental health, and urban life.

paper gem produces sample-based hip hop and is experimenting with melding ambient, slowcore and electronic styles. He is a part of the 100Fold collective (a mix of rappers and producers) and has previously released projects with the collective, as a duo alongside rapper Nigel Xavier and beat tapes/remixes as a solo artist. He’s exploring visual art/collage and DJing to share some of his eclectic music tastes. @paper_gem
